I know the 168 Berger VLD is the most accurate bullet in my Rem. Sendero 300 win mag but was astounded at the quick knockdown on a running buck at 365 yards in Colorado this year. One shot, Game Over. super hole, did not exit, bullet fragmented just like you said they would. Great bullet.

USED THE BERGERS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR FOR ELK AND BIG EASTERN WHITETAIL. USED 190 VLD IN THE 300WSM WITH RL22 @3000FPS ON ELK. ONE SHOT KILL. USED 180VLD IN 7MM REM MAG W RL22 @3000FPS FOR WHITETAIL. IMPRESSIVE ONE SHOT DEAD RIGHT THERE (DRT) ON A BIG MO WHITETAIL. BOTH KILLS WERE UNDER 200YDS.
BOTH OF MY RIFLES SHOT BEST WITH A LOT OF BULLET JUMP TO THE RIFLE LANDS. ABOUT .120. BOTH OF THESE SPORTER WEIGHT HUNTING RIFLES PRODUCED SUB MOA GROUPS @1000 YARDS. IF YOU CAN'T GET THEM TO GROUP VERY WELL JUST KEEP PLAYING WITH THE SEATING DEPTH AND LOOK OUT FOR THAT SWEET SPOT.
