"I would like to first say how good of job you all are doing. I think you are benefiting hunting and shooting sports tremendously... keep up the good work." Frank in Colorado
You may have noticed the unique clock we
use in many of our studio sets in both our television shows and advertisements. The artist of the clock works with the desires and decor of each individual client. The clocks demonstrate the individuality brought out by the wood character of each clock.
Every one of the clocks is “one of a kind”—handcrafted to be highly
accurate and dependable for generations. Made of Aspen wood from the
Rocky Mountain region, chosen for its high color and character, our
clocks are beautiful as well as functional. We also create from fine
reclaimed woods to reduce impact on our forest. The clock workings are
made of over 150 individual pieces, 44 lathe-turned.
Steve Reynolds (papa, of Papa's Clocks) lives in Cody, WY.
Several years ago, Steve decided he would like to build a grandfather clock. It fast became a hobby he loves!
He takes a piece of wood, and begins to picture a design for a clock.
He loves to take raw lumber, plane it down, and begin to create a one of a kind, a never to be duplicated
piece of art. Steve LOVES working with wood.
Each clock takes over a 100 hours to create.
Steve is the artist, he designs, draws, cuts and creates every single piece of the over 150 pieces.
He is always looking for a new piece of wood, that might make the next clock, just alittle more beautiful than the last.
He takes great pride in making sure each clock is perfect.
